Well they mentioned something about Borderlands One.

"During a conference at Gearbox Community Day on the 11th of June 2011, talking about upcoming 'Gearbox Labs', Randy Pitchford said it's a free add-on that will work with Borderlands One, further hinting at a sequel." - Wiki

I would be really surprised if they didn't make a sequel sooner or later, though I would rather they take their time with it and give us more options. I would like to be able to make my own character and have more skill options... as well as a good ending this time. -.- Fuckin' Vault.
