Long story short: negotiations with the new Iraqi leaders, regarding America's continued presence in Iraq with Washington "insisting" that all American troops be granted legal immunity from Iraqi laws, are falling through so Obama has decided (finally) that enough blood has been shed for them and is walking away from a perpetual money black hole.

It's about damn time, imo. We've been there far too long.
