I don't think it was too short, I got 35 hours out of my first playthrough which is pretty decent for me. Then again I was annoyed with how short Chapter 3 was in particular, after how long the first 2 went for. For my second chapter I went with Iorvath but will team up with Roche next time, also want to complete more of the side missions.
How did you find the start? Before the patched it a lot of people were complaining about the learning curve. Combat system was a hell of a lot of fun, I specialised in just melee stuff but next time will do more on the signs.
Graphics were the best I've seen in a long time, and I played mine on windowed medium graphics. Will definitely play it again after I complete Witcher 1.
Mal - Aww, why don't you like it? The controls or something?
Also, if you want to get the Witcher 2 cheap then Steam Winter sales will definitely have it at least 50%-75% off this time around. If not then I know that GoG.com also have a deal on it regularly and sometimes for as low as $20. And that's the non-DRM version too.
Manta- I do love it when developers do that, same for Arkham Asylum where they made it so that Batman couldn't glide properly. Or this other game where as you played it it just became more and more blurry, think it was a Helicopter simulator.
Over half way through Amnesia now, scared of my own footsteps. I dropped a book on the floor and almost ran into a cabinet before I remembered that I was the one who made the noise... but I couldn't be sure.
