Yea htat is interesting .. if it is genetic a homosexual pairing would put those genes at a dead end but you know some peopel get pressured by their culture/families to play straight and procreate..
If and only if this is the case if all homosexual people were left alone they coudl become extenct because they wouldn't be able to pass those gense on
