So Activision approaches their IT chief
, Thomas Fenady, with "Project Icebreaker." Asking him to hack into the computers of Jason West and Vince Zampella (creators of CoD) and access their voice/emails. After making it through the firewall he hit a snag and was unable to progress any further. So this genius decides to phone Microsoft for tech support saying: "Hey we have this Microsoft Exchange server out at Infinity Ward. Can you help us figure out how to break the password and read the emails?" to which Microsoft replies "Do you have a court order? This makes us feel very uncomfortable."
The none too surreptitious means this guy went about trying to solicit help for his little hacking ventures not withstanding. I kind of appreciate the unnecessary military-esque moniker of Project Icebreaker. Now I'm going to mow my lawn, or as I call it: Operation foliage destruction.
