I agree. Messi, along with being a much more team-friendly player, comes off as a guy who is truly passioned about soccer and is humble.

Ronaldo is pretty much the enbodiment of the saying "a monkey dressed in silk is still a monkey". He is a good player, but is still the hick kid that he was back in Isle of Hicks aka Madeira, so ravels in the fame while not handling it all that well.

And I know those fan boys you talk of, they're the one's that started supporting Man U. when Beckham became big and stayed around after he left.
That might be true, but I was talking about the Portuguese fanboys. They act like Twilight tweentards anytime Cristiano does anything. And I mean anything, even failing an easy goal gets their gums running how it won't stop him from being the bestest evah! Reminds me of the Eusébio craze of the 60's, except not liking Eusébio was probably a law-coded motive for political arrest because the fascist president liked him.

VIVA LA SPAIN. Take that Italy. Torn to shreds, pretty embarrassing defeat for a final.
Italy looked like it didn't know what "defense" meant in that game. I don't think Italy will recover from that shame anytime soon.
