I know, from your perspective it was just a well paid compliment about how amazing the staff here are (and I am amazing, it's more of a burden at times), but from someone else's perspective it seems as if after all the stuff that happened, you're just trying to flatter to get on peoples good sides. You just have to understand the context that someone is viewing something in.
