First of all, why are people even acting so negative to this? A bunch of bitter old racists are going to clean up a stretch of highway. After a lifetime of hatred and bigotry, they're finally doing something positive for the community. I say fuck yeah! More of this! Moar!!! I want to see these guys outside Walmart this Christmas ringing the bells for the Salvation Army, volunteering at soup kitchens, and donating to homeless shelters. I wouldn't even care if they wore their gay little uniforms while they did it.
Second, did it ever occur to anybody that some of the trash that winds up on the side of the road may (read:definitely) be thrown out by blacks or other minorities? So the KKK is actually cleaning up after some of the very people they despise. I say that is justice in and of itself.
Lastly, the State of Georgia is discriminating against the KKK because they don't want to be associated with a group that discriminates. Holy-fucking-mother-of-all-ironies.
