Yea because Obito didn't just see through his eye in kakashi right after zetsu got finished saying all zetsu (now obito too) can use telepathy... Now we see kakashi's/obito's SG become mangekyou at the exact same time... but only obito could use his while kakashi needed another 16 years to gain the chakra to use his...
If kakashi was always able to use kamui since then I would agree it was kakashi who awakened it, but because it took kakashi so damn long to gain the power to awaken it on his own... the first awakening we just saw had to be linked to obito awakening his and the telepathy power of the zetsu body hae has half attached to him...

But zetsu just got done explaining that all the zetsu have telepathic abilities right before obito saw through his eye in kakashi in the socket where his eye should have been... as if he was able to telepathically see through his eye in kakashi...
Then the eye awakens kamui at the exact same time despite the fact kakashi needed about 16 more years to awaken it on his own... So kakashi awakening of MS in this chapter is likely due to the same telepathic ability that also allowed obito to see through his eye too...

EDo madara knew all about hashirama's jutsu and power... At best obito has created a small branch with his hashirama/zetsu half body... then suddenly he is using advanced jutsu which makes tobizetsu realize why madara chose him... It must have something to do with a relation to the senju/uzumaki or something IMO...
He used the power instinctively as if he was a senju himself... It could be the reason obito could even have half a zetsu body in the first place because I do not think just anyone could have half a hashirama zetsu body put with theirs and live.... we will see...
