Excellent chapter, it tied the other 2 together nicely and it exposed some interesting social dynamics.
Aladdin needs to take all aspects of the district 5 situation into account before doing anything. As expected he reprimands it, but he has never lived the type of situation Mogamett had to deal with. The people of this kingdom, if Mogamett's story is 100% true, had no problem with magic enabling them to be lazy motherfuckers, they even fought over it once the nobles monopolized it.
When that is taken into account Mogamett's actions are not really that terrible. The magicians enable the masses to be lazy in exchange for their magoi, and since they ain't bitching about, at least not enough to force some kind of change, why should he end this arrangement ?
On the flip side you have innocent people like Marga getting jailed into this life involuntarily. Great move by the author not keeping things black and white.
