Its always been a battle of Will of Fire vs Curse of Hatred. Never about Senju and Uchiha.

Madara (Hates Konoha and his clan) vs Hashirama (WoF)
Obito (Hates the world) vs Kakashi (WoF)
Sasuke (Hates Konoha) vs Naruto (WoF)

The only uchiha (that we know of) that were able to break the curse were Itachi and Shisui. Senju has nothing to do with it,its always been idealogies.
