Lee and Gai are not Ninja's... They are direct combat warriors...

Ninja are warriors who use ninjutsu with indirect tactics and strategies.... thus the name NINJA!!! Gai and Lee only use direct taijutsu... Gai being able to employ a single ninjutsu to summon a turtle still does not qualify him as a ninja....

No matter what his skill is with nin/genjutsu... Gai cannot use ninjutsu except the summoning jutsu and Lee cannot even do that... They can only use Taijutsu... That is it, common knowledge for anyone who reads this manga... So without the ability to use ninjutsu, Gai and Lee cannot be classified as ninja... Use your damn head and quit bitching because you just cannot understand why a warrior who uses almost no ninjutsu, but one... (and one that does not even use ninja hand signs... just a blood seal and application of chakra...) ....is not a ninja...
