All of the games I would have suggested you have on your list. I liked the God of War trilogy well enough to suggest playing them. Heavy Rain reminded me a lot of Deadly Premonition, so I think you'll enjoy it.

If you've never played Shadow of the Colossus, they released it on PS3 (originally a PS2 game, I believe) a while back and I thought it was pretty fun. Not expensive either, if I recall correctly.
