I know he has the Fruit where he can control the minds of other, didn't know he could use it on himself. Like Dag states, its obvious he's using his powers, and hell if an Admiral (former) like Aoki can travel around the Grand Line/New World on a bike, it isn't so far fetched that Don can fly. Additionally even in the animes' other characters can suddenly 'airwalk' like its not that big a deal.
