he may not be entirely crazy (hard to judge out of contect)...while i do believe that aliens exist somewhere out there, many of the false reportings and pop culture views of aliens are definately a reflection of the human brain. the aliens that someone either makes up entirely or sees in their dillusions must represent something in the mind (a repression of traumatic experience, a desire for attention, wanting to believe so badly the brain misinterprets other events, etc) that needs to be manifested or made real outside of the mind for them to comprehend a feeling or experience. in terms of the pop culture view of aliens, we create aliens because they allow us to look at ourselves from a distance and ask questions that may not be so easily done of humans. i'm not sure if i really got that out clearly, but yeah. its still possible he's crazy tho.... (and perhaps me as well)
