Actually, that might work. You'd have to set up a few rules for it, though. (i.e. limits on what you can do in a turn) You could also use special clans, but if your village has a theme the clan has to be consistent with it. My village is diverse, so I have all kinds. Here's an example of my idea of combat:
Let's say I was facing noblesan's village of the Mind. I would post something like, "I'll replace some of my Chuunin and Jounin with others of those ranks from a special genjutsu-immune clan in my village. I'll send these out first, to take out the main genjutsu users. Once the enemy realizes that genjutsu won't work on them, I'll send in the rest of my forces. That way, there's a lesser chance that my reglar troops will be caught in genjutsu. All the while, my sniper squad will attempt to take out enemies at a distance from which they can't be affected." We would see what tactics noblesan would use, and we would judge a winner based on that.
