Re: No more pr0n for UK
Why do they need this?
Doesn't the browser have parental control thingy. Or they didn't bother to check it out?

Re: No more pr0n for UK
Eu'kay be crazay. It shouldn't be the responsibility of a service provider to ensure the "safety" of someone's child, the parents should know what the risks are to their children and be responsible accordingly. The most that should be done is ISPs offer all customers a customizable, client-side filtering program (which most likely do already).

Re: No more pr0n for UK
Any kind of involuntary internet censorship is bad.
The ability to have pr0n blocked from the isp is not completely a bad idea, however it shouldn't be blocked by default. If they want to make this available they should make it optional, so if a parent (school/workplace/whatever) wants pr0n blocked they call the isp provider to block it for them.
