The society of freemasons is the biggest society in the world. Thier is a lot of controversy surrounding the freemasons though. Some believe that masons worship the devil, some believe they are killers. On a documentary, it was said that a mason was planning to publish the secrets of the society in a book, but before it was published he was kidnapped and never heard of again. Another conspiracy theory is that the Jack the Ripper killings in London were really the work of Freemasons. Another belief is that the man who wrote the constitution for the 33rd degree masons is the same man who wrote the constitution for the Ku Klux Klan. Then why haven't the masons society been penetrated? The answer is easy. The answer can be seen in our Courtrooms, jails, police stations, hospitals and even the Whitehouse. These people have pledged to take the secrets of the freemasons to the grave. So if information leaked about the society, these doctors, lawyers, judges, and presidents have the power to keep information from getting out.

Trust me its there not a big mystery <anymore>, they were not ever involved in satanic rituals, or with the KKK. I’m afraid your info is bull, and I'd like to know where you got it. The Masonic symbols are architect symbols, most of them based on the building temple of King Solomon and the masons wore a breastplate that had a jewel which represented the 12 tribes of Israel. Most of it was just business, it was good for contacts like the Shriners, raccoons, or the elks. The idea behind insurance companies came from fraternal orders. Never has an order been accused of satanic anything. The KKK had a larger agenda than the masons, they were mainstream enough to have a march in the DC and the government was ok with it. All the lynching and burning cross were a small part of the KKK. The KKK was not a fraternal order. KKK broke the law not fraternal orders. Im afraid your conspiracy theory is farcical, the info you have it just idea & stuff similar to Davinci Code. It was just a place were men could hang out with people knowing whats going on, so people guessed those kind of things. Plus the kkk didnt like jews either and there were jews in the masons. I just wont stand here and let you bad mouth and slander such a prestigious organization.

I'm not bad mouthing the masons, I have family members that are freemasons and eastern stars. I was just giving you information that i have found that was negetive towards the society. I wanted to know what others felt about it. I personally have nothing against the masons. Just want opinions.

I also have family that are masons, as well as shriners. Sorry that I mistook it as negative, but it appears that way. But in truth alot of that info isn't true. <what lodge was your family in, where was it located?>.

my grandfather was in alodge in lewisburg tennessee, and my mother is an Eastern star was in a lodge in tennessee. Thats all I know.

My mom dosn't really go to any meetings anymore, and my grandfather just died, but she keeps a lot of books that you would be dead if you're caught with. You know what I mean................I tried reading some mason and OES books but I didn't understand any of it.

I firmly believe in the existance, as I've seen regular cars with the symbol and I've seen several masonic halls, but what they do I don't know. I don't believe they do what you referenced in the first post, but no one truly knows unless they are a mason themselves. That's one thing these so-called secret societies have; secrecy. You can find out just about anything about them anymore; location, members, past activities, some current activities. But you can't find out anything they want kept as secrets, and that's generally the interesting stuff.

They have books on diffrent ranks inside the society, books on the history and books on the rituals and secrets of the society. But if you're not a Mason, you won't understand any of it. And for Kluang............Masons do run the world. Their are masons everywhere you go. And I try asking my mom about masons and OES but she said if she tells me she'll have to kill me, and she wasn't playin'.
