The boy, from Tshwane, South Africa, said he had been told by his dead ancestors to wed and his family, fearing divine retribution, forked out for a wedding.

They paid £500 for the bride and a further £1,000 for the big day, which was organised in just two months.

Why revive this thread just to say that. Jeez.

I remember back when I was 6 (eons ago) and I tried something similar. I told my parents I had a dream that I was playing a SNES and that must have been a sign from god that they should buy me one. They lol'd and told me god only plays Sega's. :/
