Well from reading the spoiler for chapter 343, it was confirmed that Naruto's wind based jutsu has an effect on his body. Once he smashes it onto the victim, it causes his hand to absorb the recoil or impact. Sakura was worried because when Naruto went to the hospital, they said that Naruto had a fractured bone in his hand.

Sakura states that he can only use the jutsu one more time at that is it because it could cost him his hand. She says that medical ninjutsu is helpful but it can't cure everything. So with that being said, how do you think Naruto will use his new wind based jutsu to be effective in battle without risking his hand?

My predictions:

Well we all know that a shadow clone is basically the same body and it could produce any kind of jutus the user knows. Also remember the 3rd Hokage? He was able to strengthen his shadow clones in battle so that they could generally take more than one hit. So I think it is possible for Naruto to channel or increase the flow of chakra that goes through the clones so that they could last longer in battle. I believe Naruto did this in the fight with Neji..

Okay since Naruto can't use his new jutsu often because of the impact, would'nt it be more effective if his shadow clone did the jutsu instead? We've seen Naruto's shadow clone wield the Rasen Shuriken in battle against Kakuzu as a distraction. So we all know that his shadow clone could use the jutsu while Naruto waited in back.

So for now on don't you guys think that Naruto will rely on his shadow clone(s) to form the jutsu and come up with tactics to ensure that the jutsu hits its target. Since the shadow clones are not real bodies, once they use the jutsu,they are likely to vanish because of the impact of the jutsu once it hits.

Ever since Naruto entered his jutsu training, he has learned the secret behind the shadow clone jutsu and has learned to use them in battle so that he could get the upperhand. So I believe that the shadow clones are completely essential for Naruto's jutsu to be successful and for Naruto to remain safe at all times while using a jutsu of that caliber.

Remember in the chapter 343 spoiler, Kakashi said that Naruto would have to take percautions when handling a jutsu of that power. So with the shadow clone jutsu method, Naruto will have taken percautions.

but having the clones hold the jutsu and maintain the chakra to keep the shadow clones there would be a whole diffrent lvl of training.

wont kyuubi`s power heal him?and btw his jutsu isnt 100 persent.maybe if he perfected his jutsu then his hand wont take that much damage.

The chakra is distributed evenly among the shadow clones. So they have the same amount of chakra as the user. Besides Naruto had a Shadow hold the Rasen Shuriken to distract Kakuzu in chapter 342.

Isn't that dangerous? Naruto could turn himself into Ramen noodles.

Yeah gradually but bone farctures are no easy matter. If Naruto keeps using his jutsu without thinking he will blow his dang hand off.

It would be even stronger. Remember Naruto has to smash it into the enemy. That could result in Naruto loosing a limb apposed to a hand.

That is not how the jutsu works. It is called Rasen Shuriken because his shadow clones are sent in from long range and they distrack the enemy, while Naruto runs in and attack with the jutsu. So it is like the name implies, except it does not leave Naruto's hand.

If it left Naruto's hand, it would probably disperce because the Rasengan is a mass of concentraded chakra and can only be maintained by the user's direct control. And with the wind on top, it is just likely to blow way because the form manipulation is in one general and specific area.

I think that once the jutsu is mastered it will not matter. The level of training in which Naruto is currently undergoing I’m sure he will work around that. Just as Kakashi told Sasuke that if he used chidori to many time he could die…..crickets……now look at him, he can form chidori around his entire body….crickets….Naruto didn’t fracture bones when doing it training or did he…thinking….He is the leaf villages most surprising hyperactive knuckle headed ninja I’m quite sure that he will learn a way to figure how to use this new jutsu without losing an arm.

But my thoughts explain how Naruto would get around the fractures. Either way Naruto has to smash the jutsu into the enemy and the impact from the jutsu damages Naruto's hand. We don't know what Naruto was up to for 100% of his training But he did look relatively beat up when taking on Kakuzu.

the most obvious answer is to have a clone perform the jutsu, because Naruto would suffer no lasting drawbacks then.

but of course Naruto could just learn how to manipulate a protective layer of chakra (wind or regular) into his palm, sort of like the padding between a boxer's palm and the glove, that would buffer the impact of his jutsu. Of course to do this would require some extensive training, as it essentially adds another level of chakra awareness that Naruto needs to have.
