Why is Naruto so weak?

Why is he so weak? I mean he's been training for such a long time with Jiraiya and I've seen no progress what so ever except that new rasengan...

Well, your right he is quit weak but i think the only reason he is living is because of the fox he would probably of died when he was fighting Haku.

u gota understand that jiraya was teaching him about akatsku and all that how to beat them and ofcourse naruto looks weak right now compared to the super charged saskue. wait till naruto does his next trainign which should be pretty soon and u will see a huge dif due to his new training technich

Wow, think about what you say before calling someone a moron, when you make a moronic post in and of itself. This is the anime forum. You know, where people who WATCH THE ANIME post? And who exactly are you to tell people who think Naruto is weak to not post it? It's their opinions, which they're free to share with us all. If YOU don't like it, then leave.

Anyway, in the ANIME, Naruto does look a bit weak. It doesn't really show much improvement from Jiraiya's training, other than better bunshin usage, as shown from his sparring fight against Kakashi. Though, he still seems to run on instinct and run straight to danger, as shown against Deidara.

I have thought on this topic a good bit. I don't view Naruto as weak. I see him more as being stupid than weak, that aggrevates me. I was hoping that he would come back from his training with Jiraiya not only stronger (a few more jutsus, more control of his summons, etc.) but also more mature a wiser in battle. But we still see the psychotic moron running into every fight blindly without even thinking about it. This type of wrecklessness would get a weaker shinobi killed, so to call him weak isn't accurate. I just wish he would begin to show some of the abilities of his father (like Flash step)....wouldn't it be great if he had a bloodline trait that has not been revealed yet?

No,As i remember when sasuke used sharingan naruto could do nothing,so he use kyubi with 1 tail then he beat him but again when dark seal of sasuke appeared it changed again.
