Mail Carrier Saves Falling Baby

Lisa Harrell was delivering mail to a home late Monday morning when she
noticed a baby in a window above the front door. Harrell says the next
thing she knew, the baby had fallen into her arms.

When the baby's mother realized what happened, she ran outside and
grabbed the girl from Harrell. The woman thanked Harrell and then ran
down the street to her mother's house.

Paramedics checked the baby at the scene but found no injuries.

No charges are being filed against the mother, who says she had placed
her daughter on a bed that was up against the window. The mother says
her back was turned when her daughter crawled out the open window.

Thank god that people like this are around. . .

It twas just luck, I suppose. If the mail carrier had arrived a bit early or a bit later, the baby would've been dead.

yeah that was damn lucky, make you think about fate and shit lol, and yeah most news is posted in here, soon as news is sorta chit chat... if we have a news section we may as well have a section about the weather....

Not really. Whether is something you can instantly find out, and it's
constantly changing.

That was luck though. According to the video going along with this article,
the mom turned her back for a second and left her child by an open window.

it's always just for a second though isn't it, it only ever takes a second for something disastrous to occur, like a baby falling out of a window

yeah, but like what could she be charged with? child endangerment? yeah she had opened the window and put the kid on the bed but she didnt realize she had so it was just a careless mistake, so i don't see what she could be charged with other than being an idiot
