About the Nintendo Revolution..

I heard some rumors on several sites that the Nintendo Revolution will be more than just gaming on a tv screen. Well.. i seen some pictures that had something related with the Rev. and there was a helmet you can put on with a visor, and it allows you to be inside the game kind of like virtual reality but its probly a fake.
I also seen several topics on augmented reality that this system might use.

Anyone know something about this system?
i heard alot of these interesting rumours but nintendo still hasnt released any info on it yet.

I bet the helmet size would be XXS since we all know Nintendo games are for babies and the people lacking in a sense of games. [/Sony+Xbox loyalty].

I saw pictars of it, but I am not a fan of any Nintendo system over the age of N64.

I've heard nothing about a helmet. And for the record. *kicks Fresh* Don't. Diss. Nintendo! [/equal fan of all] (please don't ban ^^

As far as I know, not only with the Revolution have it's own games but it will be compatible with any game Nintendo has ever made.

NO, but you could download it. The rev will be online and can download all the old nintendo games. It still smells though. and that helmet it fake, i saw some picture of a white roundish object that subosiblly had a projector in it. But the rev is a black regtangle that plays normal sized dvds and gc games. BUt, i read you need an attachment to play dvds.

No, they say it will have original Nintendo Games as well. It has some sort of Download Feature in order to do such.

I only look forward to this system because of those new things i heard so much about.
If it's just like any other system like the gamecube except better graphics then im just gonna go for the ps3.

The downloading of old games is probably going to be a feature. There are A LOT of people who have been requesting older games. It's why they've been making the "classic NES" series for GBA. Also, Nintendo has a record for making some of the best games ever (at least in my opinion), so if there's news of a good game from the start (super smash bros. or zelda), then I might buy it.

Nintendo does make some of the best games ever, but half of their games aren't the greatest.[/Xbox fan] Revolution will allow downloading of most (not all) previous games (not sure if this includes Gamecube, though). I heard a rumor that that wasn't the Revolutioniary part of the console, though, and that the revolution would be in the controller. Hmmm...
Edit: Here is a list of what games the Revolution will have. Not sure if it is real, though, I just got it from a person saying he got it from a japanese magazine

I can't find a link to it, but I heard you won't be able to download the games for free. The price is still going to be small to dl them, however.

I assume that it will act much like an iPod in the sense that there will be places where you pay money for a downloadable game. It will probably be relatively cheap. No more than $5.00, I should hope.
