Basically a topic for Zelda fans to discuss about upcomming games or need help in a game. I was wondering how many people here are actually going to PRE-ORDER Twilight Princess? And your thoughts on the game.
Also if anyone knows, which Wind waker guide book is better(Prima's or the Bradygames one). I wanted to buy a guide so i don;t keep printing out strategies from the internet n_n

I don't know how many people here actually like zelda, so hopefully someone can answer my question :P

I will probeby Pre order Zelda Twilight Princess, but it doesn't releases untill april 2006
i thought that it would be released now in september.

I think it will be one of the best Zelda games so far, but i think that the wolf thing will make the game less good.
but so far the best Zelda game is Ocerina Of Time.

i have no idèe which of the guides that is better. sorry

I think I saw somewhere that amazon.com said that the unofficial release date was November.I doubt it, but I really want this game to come out already >_<

I think this new one will be really good. I'm not sure if I'll get when it comes out or when it merely cheapens but It's well on it's way to being the best Zelda Title ever. As for the wolf bit, it's different but it looks to be very fun.

As for Wind Waker guide, I never bought one, but here's a tip. Most likely the dungeon you're in will depends on the item(s) recieved in that dungeon (or to access it). Not only that but if you're stuck at one point, look around the entire dungeon and revisit some rooms in case you forgot something. That's my advice.

Thanks Gemakai, I'm actually up to the Earth temple. I needed the strategy guide mostly for enemy stats and side quests n_n

Out of these games, which one do you think is the best?
Majora's Mask,Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, or the upcomming Twilight Princess

Personally I like Ocarina of Time, I had the most fun playing that game.

Would TP be better graphics wise? So far that's my only reason for getting TP. I wonder how the horseback riding and fighting system is going to work for the game.the bosses look really tough also. It's a shame the WW bosses were pretty easy to beat.I wanted more of a challenge, Like a chamber of Giant chu chu's and Giant Poes n_n

Though I've never played Ocarina of Time, I have a hunch that Twilight Princess will surpass it both Graphically, Gameplay-wise, and in simple every other way possible.

The Earth Temple in Wind Waker is AWESOME (but I say that because I like Medli ^___^), but I absolutely despise the Wind Temple. Don't ask why, but I don't really like Makar... he's just.... bleh! As for the bosses, the last two are pretty tough (Ganon's Puppet and Ganon himself) while the other ones are pretty easy too, I like how they implemented the use of the special item you find into the battle. I found that out from a friend when I was playing a demo against the first boss (which is one of my favorite bosses in the game).

As for enemy stats, Rath, I simply don't bother myself with them. So long as I can defeat the enemy, their stats mean little to me. And side quests... okay, you probably do need a strategy guide for that. Hehe. ^^;

:P, I got the Prima guide yesterday, I like looking at the pictures lol.
I had fun playing as Medli, sometimes I'd aim wrong and throw her into a wall 0_0, I love when her eyes start swirling . I actually kinda liked Makar, it was fun to watch it waddle and make jingle sounds..got annoying after a while.

you use game guides? why not make up your own strategies like actual gamers
I think game guides take the joy out of most games.

and I would assume that both guides are resonably good

Yeah, but it's a lot more fun when you know all the secret places and sidequests, then just wandering around like an idiot, I didn't use the guide for half of the game, I just recently decided to because I wanted all the extra info..it depends on the game, some are better off not having a game guide, others are tough and may ruin your expectations of the game, so you get a game guide to help you out of the tough spot so you can continue with your merryment :P
There's no 'law' saying that if you own a game guide you're not a 'true' gamer, it all depends on you and the type of game you're playing.
