It seems very strange that jiraiya has so much information about akatsuki and orochimaru wouldn't it be ironic if he turned out to be a double agent or someone from akatsuki and someone from orochimaru's ranks were double agents.
what do you think?

Well,it is most likely that someone in Orochimaru's ranks a traitor,like Kabuto.But really,we can only guess.

If he was evil, he woulda ran off with Naruto and handed him into the akatsuki no problem. Jiraiya is too good to be caught, if he had sources then he wouldn't be gone so often, he probably slueths and finds stuff himself

Doesn't he have that ninjutsu that allows him to be super silent and get away the instant he needs to? That would probably explain it.

Remember, Jiraiya always told the 3rd (when he was a kid) that he good at peeping. Using his stealth jutsus to conceal himself and get around to see them. He also mentioned that he tracked Oro's movements after left the village...meaning that if Oro didn't know that Jiraiya was tracking him (to which he never hinted that he knew), then that would prove more that Jiraiya is just good and tracking people. He also tracked down Tsunade, and even though she wasn't hiding, no one else really knew where she was (not her debt owners, or other members of Konoha). Only Oro and Jiraiya found her. But Jiraiya knows how to fit in and disappear amoung people that most would think don't know anything. So he is just good at getting information.

I don't know, but Jiriaya is one hell of a ninja, he even got Itachi and Kisame scared in part 1. But Jiriaya sure has his sources, either he tracks down the information himself secretly and or he obtains his sources from secret intergregations, ninja, organizations, and civilains.

You all are forgetting a KEY aspect of his sneakiness: the frogs.

Gamabunta may be huge and not stealthy, but think about little tree frogs and toads and all that crap. He probably uses them in addition to his ultra peeping ability (which has to be sweet by now... I mean talk about years of practice) and all that other stuff mentioned above.

As for the question itself, Kabuto has always been in question....but I honestly don't think it's him......

I'm gonna go and say that he has spies out there as well as his own peeping skills to do the job of gathering info.
