what's the first thing you would change? Sorry if this belongs to the Spam Zone, but I didn't see it as some kind of forum game or random thread. This is more of an opinion-expressing thread, so I thought it'd be better in Chit Chat.

Anyway, if I were an admin at Narutolounge I would probaly increase the maximum avatar size in KBs so I could use some of my larger images. Not very original but that's probably it.

I totally agree with u man i cant change mine at all cuz i wont be able to get them back up cuz the Kb are to large.....i dont want to whine but since the subject is already brought up i just want say that they need to make it the way it was..........it sux for me personally .........

also yeah the flameing is a bit on the rough side and there is alot of swareing but thats what i like about the site...mods are not tight ass(**Openion**)

Lower the flaming level.
Lengthen the KB allowed for avatars.
Lengthen the allowed amount of images in a post/sig.
Allow custom title.
Add an arcade, maybe..

-Be a bit more leniant on infractions.
-Be a bit leniant on the flame rules.
-Install a Shop hack, where members can purchase all sorts of items and features.
-Install a points system, so said members can purchase things.
-Increase the image limit to 6 instead of 4.
-Add 1 or 2 more Smods.
-Add 1 more Admin.

If I were an admin... I'd probably relax and let the smods and mods do their jobs... I'm pretty satisfied with the rules right now, they seem about right.
I wouldn't change anything... The oversized avatars get on my nerves sometimes and I think 150x150 is a big enough size.
If I were admin, I'd change the signature rules a bit, and make sure the signature rules were kept in check ALL THE TIME, because I sometimes see peoples with GIANT signatures, that are filled with extremely tall banners.

if i was an admin i think i would be a bigger hardass then i was as an smod, all the rules are of equal weight in my eyes and they all need to be enforced toughly.

Meh, you have a point Toshi, the signature rule isn't enforced so badly. I mean, before I PM'ed Oakgyrl with a question I didn't even get anything in relation to my signature, even though it was a bit too big. I don't really mean increasing the allowed SIZE of avatars, but allow for longer gif images. I know a perfect avatar that I could use but it's much too big. I'd probably keep dimensions the same.

Thats what mods/s. mods are supposed to do. I've told them to enforce it, but I can only do so much.

hmmm... if i were an admin... i'll change that damn topping rule! i think i'll look at it in diff. kind of perspective, an ex. is that from the random vids section where i topped a thread about a funny vid... after i topped it ppl started to look at it and they somehow enjoyed it and the fact that not all the members of the forum havnt watched it yet including me... so ya, i got an infraction for topping it... if i were an admin i change the rule to that if the thread didnt received any interest after u topped it, u'll definitely get an infraction...

Everyone says to be more lenient with the flamming rules. Here's a question: Why? You flame someone, they get insulted, so you get punished. We can't seperate flames into mild, moderate, and severe cases because if we do you whining sons a bitches will complain by saying that so and so flame should really be a moderate flame instead of a severe one. Theres no right way to do it, no matter what we do. So deal.

Here's an idea: DONT FUCKING FLAME IN THE FIRST PLACE. Dont get all mad and pissy at us for punishing you for doing something you shouldn't. Get mad at yourself for being too fucking stupid and flamming someone over the internet.

I mean, it is just a forum. Not everyone here takes flames seriously, and I'm assuming those who do would be the 10-14 year olds here that whine about it. Maybe there should also be a different age minimum for joining. The youngest I've seen so far was like, what....11?

Edit: Wait, was this thread meant as just a spammy general chatty thread? Or was it intended for actual suggestions? Sounds like both.

I agree with you Shino, I don't see a point in the severity rule because it would cause a lot of debating and just general whining so there's no reason to put the mods through that. It even adds more opinion to the deal of flaming infractions. I remember Shino once said:
"One mod might give an infraction for: Your wiener is small. Another might give a warning for: You fucking asshole." Opinion shouldn't be an issue, a flame is a flame and that's about it.

To Mikey, I didn't really intend for this to be a suggestion or a debate, I just wanted to hear some interesting opinions and reasons.
