Heh, that's ridiculous. She's not taking what is best for the kid into consideration at all. And I'm fairly certain there is other ways of going about allowing him visitations and shit then having him go to her place. Like arranging pick-ups and drop-offs by a third party and shit like that, so she wouldn't even have to see him. Honestly though, if he has never personally abused her, then she really should get some counciling and try to work something more reasonable out. Either way though, there plenty of other options that are far less selfish that don't involve dicking a kid out of having a dad.

Best suited, in what way? Financially? They're both pretty hard workers. Their income is average, but they do with what they have. Emotionally? Well, she's very insecure and there's that issue of her old abusive relationship. Which is pretty much preventing her from being happy with a man. And in this case, it's gonna affect her child. =\
Both. However, if they're both equally fit then the mother probably comes out on top (I don't think her emotional problem would qualify as having a direct impact in taking care of a child, unfortunetly) because I'm sure there's shit about the child having some sort of emotional link with the mother or something, most likely. Or if she breast feeds and junk. I really don't know, I'm just guessing theres probably studies or something like that since most mothers end up with custody unless they're unfit in some way; I'm just too lazy to look it up and it might change from state to state. Totally just guessing here. >.>

That's pretty much why he's suing for custody. He feels there's no other way he can be in his child's life unless he goes this route. That's how impossible she is sometimes.
Pretty sure that unless he is a danger to the child or mentally unstable or something that he is going to at least get visitation rights.

And yeah, I got confused with the 'her telling you to screw off' thing. My bad. XD

@Mystik- First off, fucking ridiculous. Giving birth to a kid doesn't suddenly make you a fit mother. And the guy shouldn't get dicked over just because they're not married. If the mom is a crack head or jobless and the guy works from home and makes a six figure income then it'd make a ton of a lot more sense to have the kid live with the dad.

Secondly, calling bullshit on your 'that's how it works in my state' shit. And they don't do anything about child abductions where you live on occasion? Yeah, that's almost believable. Link? Source? Because I'd wager you just have no clue as to what you're talking about before believing they let people just steal babies in Georgia.
