Re: how mant hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons have u survived

I have been affected by no hurricanes personally though I have kinda been affected by the rements of one Tropical Storm Erin (the one that caused all the flooding late this summer in the Midwest). I have been affected by Tornadoes though.
The part of the midwest where I live, transistion zone into the Plains is one of the roughest spots to live (whine all you want about your weather but). It is one of the varied climates ever. For example this week, it was in the 80s this past sunday and now barely 3 day later it is the high is 51. We get hot and humid summers (90s are high, and we aren't going to talk about humidity) and winter, well, this past February, it didn't get out negatives for a high for over 2 weeks (This is not normal) Normally during winter, we hover around Zero fahrenheit for most of the winter. We get Tornadoes, snowstorms that at their most evil dump about 30 inches of snow on you, we get flooding and the subsequent mudslides. I might complain about the weather, but its home to me.
