well like with samehada not alot of americans would know it mean shark skin so thats what they called it

they basically change the name so people woh dont watch the japanese will get the meaning

no you mean people who dont speak or understand japaneses like most of us who watch the sub because without the subtitle we probaliy wouln't know that was kisame sowrd name was plus i like them translated only some like certain name shinigami-soul reaper we in america knows wat that his plus it sounds better i personaly love the dub do u know that there certain letters japs cant say right thats when u here the dub say it,sounds weird.and i like yodoichi's voice in the dub and byakuya his is perfect

They may have kept Zanpatou and Seireitei and sword names, but they changed Shunpo to "flash step". I know that's what it means, but Shunpo sounds better!

im really likeing it so far.......cuz i havent seen none of the japanese verson.....so i kno i should be i donthave time... so the dubb going to have to do but its good

i just got done watchin subbed and i have to say the english voices are pretty damn close in tone to the subbed

this weak episode i didnt like because a certain captin dont the doctor captin the male doctor. i was expecting a cool bankai call like bankaaaiiii but instead i got bankai it was fast and shallow bankai is my favorite bleach word i love the dub but that killed me hopefully the other captins say it diffrent like byakuya ban-kai so i will wait hopefully itP diffrent again love the dub didnt like how they said bankai in battle.yodorichi said it perfect explaining to ichigo again i love the dub

Actually, he said it pretty much the same way in the Japanese version. There was no real feeling of grandeur to it, just him stating a command in a flat tone. To him, the bankai is merely another tool, nothing more.

I'd have to say that they've done an excellent job catching the character with each voice actor.

AARRRGGG!!! I can't believe it! After so many characters (well, Rukia and Renji) saying "Kidou" basically correct ("Key-doh"), the VA for Hitsugaya says it "Kai-doh"! I mean, WTF!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

It's funny that on dubbed Bleach they changed it from Shinigami to soul reaper, but on dubbed Death Note they say Shinigami.

Dunno, but I wish it came back now. If we have to wait for Death Note to be over, then its gonna be nearly a year for it to be finished.>_>

I looked on the adult swim forums and they're like "we're sick of noobs bothering us about bleach" and blah blah...

boooo.... oh well, I can still read the new manga in shonen jump
