You don't have to defend yourself against past actions. Instead, if you want people to stop complaining about you, you can start working towards making NL a better place. Start worrying about how you are going to make up for any past mistakes instead of getting everyone even more riled up.

I gotcha man. You have a point, but I've already started with what you said, and I'm still going on with it. Cept I don't wanna do good to only get bullshit back for it because they don't know how to forgive. I'm already doing my best to make up for it.
