No the 4th wasn't part of the team jiraiya taught it was pain konan and another boy yondaime/minato was jiraiya's student later.

Since you read the manga then the leader of aka is pain but he was hired by madara the creator of the uchiha clan look at my avatar to see his face.

You can say that he is dead but they never had a funeral for him like they did the other ninjas. so nobody knows if he is dead or alive

Why should they have shown a funeral for a person who died right away? The two Sarutobi were far better known, by Naruto and his friends.

On the other hand how can someone read the manga and still doubt the fact that Minato's dead for sure? The only reason he was though to be allive, was that Pains Yahiko-body had some similarity to him.
