Nice! I love a good debate.... And I love naruto. So this seems to be a nice FC for me. May I join mikey? And I would love to join in on the mini debate. when might that begin?

Hmm, this seems like a really great idea, I gladly will accept.

I assume right now we are suppose to come up with ideas for the time being. I have a topic that interests me.

Who has the most powerful lightning jutsu? Kakashi is the creator of the renowed chidori, thus it was the only jutsu he never copied. The jutsu got its nickname, Raikiri after he cut a lightning bolt in half. Shinobi of all differet type of levels notes that Kakashi's jutsu is a force to be known. We also know that Kakashi's natural chakra affinity is lightning, so the creation of the technique was of no shock.

Kakashi's Raikiri appear to be a similar to the chidori but I can't help but see some differences, such as his hand shape when using the two similar jutsu.

Sasuke has developed his chidori extensively over the time skip. Using various types of the jutsu to strike from different and potentially dangerous angles. If Kakashi and Sasuke clashed using their jutsu, who exactly is the better user of the jutsu? Of course it may seem like Sasuke has surpassed the teacher, but Kakashi is the master of that skill.

He may know ways to over power Sasuke's skill at manipulating the chidori.

I wont be able to join in every debate, since this will be a very busy semester for me (and I'll be transfering/moving in the summer), but I will participate when I can.

I prefer debates that center around characters, their motivations, roles, relationships, etc. I'm not too big on debating techniques/matches, so obviously I will step aside for those more often than not. I hope thats not a problem. xD

I'm on my break... so I'll think of topics later. xP

I believe I'm supposed to contribute with debating ideas. I'm not very good at it especially since I'm relatively new here and don't know what's been ultra discussed already or not.

But I personally am a bit confused about the thing Yondaime did with the yin and yang chakra. And if he ever planned for naruto to have the whole chakra again and etc. This involves the Toad Scroll.

Oh, by the way. Um, as owner of this FC, don't expect me to be the best debator here lol. I can be very consistent and aggressive when the time calls for it, however, I'm far from the best debator here.

x_X Alright, that's new to me, question spam time:

1 does everyone in the club belong to a team?
2 does the team and it's name remain the same from one debate issue to another?
3 who picks the team, and on which criteria?
4 during a debate is there a specific number of teams targeted and involved and others must not interfere or all can debate?
5 what are the attributes of the members within one team (must they agree to the relatively the same ideas and not fight within the team?)

sounds really interesting to me.
although, mind you that I'm a bit narutoish so you might have to dumb it down for me :P

Nope. Teams are chosen and given temp names for debates only.

I suppose. Assuming the same exact group of members decide to debate together again, then I guess their original names can remain.

The co-owners and I pick the teams, based on how well you guys mesh together, or how well you guys debate. Or have debated before.

No, during debates, only two teams will participate. Also, not all debates will be done through teams. Again, depending on the issue, and assuming it's large enough, the debate will either be singles or teams. During said debates, no one outside of the teams/participants can interfere. I don't wanna see a debate happen, and out of no where, a member not involved in the debate decides to help any of the teams by posting proof or whatever. They can chime in on their opinions, or comment on how the debate is going, but do NOT post for the sake of giving any team an unfair advantage.

I only ask that the teams get along in some way, and respect one another. I'll also allow the teams to share information with one another through PMs, so as to let them all get their things together and all get on the same page.

Well, Naruto is very clever when he needs to be, so there won't need to be any dumbing down.

alright, this clears up some confusion.
Also, what happens concerning the presence of the team members? I believe a debate won't last for like 2 hours only, might go to a day or two if it's detailed enough? What happens with team members who can't be online (due to the difference of time and personal business) and have to let the rest of the team debate alone for an indefinite period of time? (for example my big problem is the difference of time, since it's already late evening here, and most of the fun is usually after I go to sleep lol... actually sigh)
