9/11 "Controlled demolition" conspiracy theory DISPROVEN
9/11 theorists say the twin towers were destroyed by "controlled demolitions" and that the proof is that the melting point of steel is below that which the fire was burning. That is NOT true. Here is the proof:
PROOF: Temperature of fire, according to the wikipedia article about fire: Typical temperatures of fires and flames Oxyhydrogen flame: 2000 °C or above (3645 °F) [4] Bunsen burner flame: 1300 to 1600 °C (2372 to 2912 °F) [5] Blowtorch flame: 1,300 °C (2372 °F) [6] Candle flame: 1000 °C (1832 °F) Smoldering cigarette: Temperature without drawing: side of the lit portion; 400 °C (750 °F); middle of the lit portion: 585 °C (1110 °F) Temperature during drawing: middle of the lit portion: 700 °C (1290 °F) Always hotter in the middle. The melting point of steel, from the wikipedia article about steel: Copper melts at just over 1000 °C, while tin melts around 250 °C. Cast iron—iron alloyed with greater than 1.7% carbon—melts at around 1370 °C. All of these temperatures could be reached with ancient methods that have been used for at least 6000 years (since the Bronze Age). Since the oxidation rate itself increases rapidly beyond 800 °C, it is important that smelting take place in a low-oxygen environment. It is clear proof the 9/11 conspiracy theorist's statement on the matter IS WRONG.

Re: 9/11 "Controlled demolition" conspiracy theory DISPROVEN
No shit it's wrong, the 9/11 conspiracy shit are by far some of the most retarded conspiracy theories out there. Which, needless to say, is pretty damn bad.
We already have a silly 9/11 conspiracy thread going in this cesspool of stupidity though, no need for this thread. Just go into that one if you want to prove tards wrong. : ) |
