9/11 theorists say the twin towers were destroyed by "controlled demolitions" and that the proof is that the melting point of steel is below that which the fire was burning. That is NOT true. Here is the proof:

Temperature of fire, according to the wikipedia article about fire:

Typical temperatures of fires and flames
Oxyhydrogen flame: 2000 °C or above (3645 °F) [4]
Bunsen burner flame: 1300 to 1600 °C (2372 to 2912 °F) [5]
Blowtorch flame: 1,300 °C (2372 °F) [6]
Candle flame: 1000 °C (1832 °F)
Smoldering cigarette:
Temperature without drawing: side of the lit portion; 400 °C (750 °F); middle of the lit portion: 585 °C (1110 °F)
Temperature during drawing: middle of the lit portion: 700 °C (1290 °F)
Always hotter in the middle.

It is clear proof the 9/11 conspiracy theorist's statement on the matter IS WRONG.
