You're right, Highspeed...I am getting mad that you say that! JK, it's an opinion I guess, but the amount of development is factually larger, I even think that NaruHina's development is greater or at least on equal footing with NaruSaku. NaruHina goes from Hinata's one-sided deeper feelings and Naruto not really noticing her to at least Naruto liking her at at least the level of a close friend. NaruSaku goes from Naruto's one-sided crush on Sakura to her noticing and choosing to treat him like dirt to him and her being brother-and-sisterly towards one another. Romantically, I'd definitely have to say NaruHina has more development, however, NaruSaku has made the bigger leap in personalities towards each other.

lol... that reminded me how much I liked Sakura with long hair better... maybe she'll grow it out later.

I do wonder now, is what Ino said true: Does Sasuke like girls with long hair or short hair? XD

well, no one would be all that surprised at KibaHina because they're TEAMMATES. I'm kinda fed up with people pairing solely on the basis that the members of the pairing are teammates. Like ShikaIno: there's NOTHING to it AT ALL. But people ship it. Because they are teammates.

I do like SasuSaku in general and kinda by default for being a NaruHina fan, but it also makes the most sense in the series and backing besides ShikaTema and (obviously) KurenaiAsuma. Next comes NaruHina, followed by NaruSaku, then come the lesser pairings that have some basis, followed by fanon, then crack.

I have a small question, if Ino had been put on the team with Naruto and Sasuke instead of Sakura, other than totally dismantaling InoShikaChou, would she have ended up where Sakura is now? I'd say that the story as far as that goes might have ended up the same way....maybe...

SasuSaku made the most sense EARILIER in the series. But things are about even with NaruSaku now in my book, and only because Sasuke is A - still alive, and B - apparently triumphant over Itachi (That's actually huge for SasuSaku fans at this point). My story has Sasuke make one choice. (The choice I think he'll make) But there are others available to him now. So really it all depends on Sasuke at this point.

Anyway, you guys are right about Karin. Just stirring up the flames.

I like Sakura better with short hair, mostly because Kishi's style in the beginning wasn't that great (XD) so i don't think she was particularly cute with long hair. Short hair suits her best. But I like her long hair too. XD

I wonder... that seems more like silly gossip to me though. I can't imagine Sasuke telling someone that he likes girls with long hair... o.o Who would it have been? Certainly not a fangirl... lol

I'm sure hardcore fans of KibaHina and ShikaIno like the pairings for more reasons than that they're teammates...

There was a comment by Chouji, about how Shikamaru must be disappointed that Ino was already cheering for Sasuke or something like that. So I think that's where a lot of people starting thinking there might be something between Shika and Ino. *shrugs*

SasuSaku has a lot of development in canon, a lot of databook support, and all of Sakura's cover pages so far in Part II have referred to her desire to save Sasuke. There's a love confession with a response of gratitude, and it was Sakura who brought Sasuke back to himself after the curse seal incident. And he told Naruto to save her no matter what. <3 /SasuSaku FTW

I sort of view NaruHina and NaruSaku on the same page. *shrugs*

I like Sakura with long hair. With the short hair, it makes her shoulders and neck look HUGE. And that just throws everything out of whack. Besides, Sakura was SOOOO cute with long hair

(Or maybe that was because she was younger, I can't make up my mind

I didn't notice that about Sakura, I think she's very cute with short hair. But there are some bad shots of her in the manga. D: And the anime at times really messes with her appearance. Ah well.

Well, Kiba and Naruto are a lot alike; they're both rambuntious and outgoing, and Kiba seems determined to get up and keep fighting, despite everything. If not, protecting the people he loves is just as important as personal growth. Kiba is pretty much what Hinata idolizes, and they know each other much better than Hinata knows Naruto; if Hinata actually opened her eyes over those two and a half years, I think Kiba's character would have a much stronger impact on her character than it currently does. And I'm finding it really difficult to continue to explain why I lke KibaHina XD

As for the ShikaIno pairing: Shikamaru and Ino are team mates, all of Team 10 has fathers that work together. They're all like childhood friends (supposedly, at least). I think it would a little demeaning to my pride (if I were a guy) when one of my teammates, whom I've known for longer than the time that we've been team mates, started cheering for a guy she hardly knows anything about. But knowing Shikamaru, he probably wouldn't have cared much. XD
I think InoChou is more canon, since it was implied that Chouji may have liked/ likes Ino after Shikamaru's promotion to Chuunin (I think).

I like Sakura with both short and long hair, but I think short hair fits her better timeskip.
I don't know why, but I think the way Kishimoto drew her in the earlier chapters was cute. I found it a rather charming and original. Maybe it was the size of her forehead, though, and the way her longer hair made it stand out more.
