Not necessarily, Pein just finished the battle with Jiraiya not to long ago in real time in Narutoverse, and I think even he would need a recovery period to be top of his game, he may attempt but someone or something will stop him, Pein vs Konoha could end in the death of someone (Yamato), everyone else I suspect will be around, also don't forget about Konan, she hasn't fought since Pein told her to leave, and their isn't a lot of Akatsuki members left to battle in the first place, this is the leaders fault Pein & Madera. The seem not to care much about teammates falling at all. Akatsuki, the worst crew ever to be a part of, at best your teamate will be entertained and have a story to tell after you perish.

but still, konoha would have a lot of trouble defeating him, if not any at all, and i dont think Pein would come all alone, maybe with Konan, plus Zetsu.. D:

Well. If Pain pops up from nowhere then.. There is going to be a lot of trouble for him. LOL I mean they got a Sharingan user, A bug user, a Mokuton user, a Byakugan user and a damn Jinchuuriki that has the strongest demon.. Well in that case Someone is going to die and a frog might pop up and snatch Naruto away.. This team is consisted of 4 Jounins and 4 Chuunins.. They could take on Pain... But there will be some deaths.

Even with Zetsu. I think he would pwn them all with his doton techniques.

Akatsuki have three leaders...

Madara - The mastermind of Akatsuki.
Pain - The actual Leader people know of and conducts the sealing rituals.
Zetsu - Everyone reports to this guy instead of Pain and also a recruit.

So it's still up in the air but i would say yes no way in hell konoha is getting to sasuke first.

Hopefully itachi's body will remain so konoha can take it back and examine it and tell us why he wasn't 100%.
