I think Pain interphered. From what I remember from Pain's history, they were friends, and so he didn't want her to get harmed. She also stays with Pain, while he could get a stronger teammate than she is.
Or maybe he's just in love with her. xD

That makes me wonder.... If Madara eyes where dmged in the battle with the 1st and that could be the reason why he only has one eye now. I'm assuming he took Obito other eye. mmmmm... This could be one of the reason so many people(on the forums) expect him to be Obito.

Has anyone noticed that Tobi's sharingan is the right eye and Kakashi's is the the left eye? Is there any significance there? Are we sure that Tobi is Madara?

I've read all the mangas but I may be forgetting some things, so forgive me.

btw, back when sasori was killed, there was only zetsu and tobi in the cave. However, tobi acted as if he was stupid, and called him zetsu-san. Are we sure zetsu knows tobi´s real identity since the begining?

Little if anything makes sense in the Akatsuki... they don't protect members, (Hidan, Kazuku, Deidara, Sasori, Itachi), Pein has been called the leader by Tobi, Tobi the leader by Pein, Pein has called Tobi Madera, as well as Zetsu. But at the same time he did act like a fool originally, Pein spoke sadly of the loss of Deidara, and barked on Itachi to tell Sasori about Naruto. Then this is the kicker Madera helped Itachi during the Uchiha Massacre, he is Itachi's mentor, but he's a shell of his former self, that just joined the Akatsuki that he formed in the first place and never even spoke to Itachi before he perished, now tie up those loose ends and your doing something Kishi.

one question I have about the rasengan, Is that is there a ying and yang split to it, just like the nine tails chakra split?

I am guessing this is something jaraiya told naruto not to use because of it's power and probable implications.

@the specialist, I like your prediction about naruto using his clones, in other to warp through vast distances.

I dunno, looks real to me. *shrug* Of course he looks old/like Chiyo, when you consider his actual age. Did we expect Madara to actually look like a young child? If this proves to be real, it means Madara never body hopped, pretty much killing the Obito theories, and shows that Madara did indeed find a way to become immortal at some point in his natural old age. Itachi did state that Madara is immortal, after all.

Dude being immortal means not aging at all.. and staying the same age forever.

Do Kakuzu, Hidan and Orochimaru look old to you?

Even Tsuande.. She uses a jutsu to keep her appearance at youth.

Orochimaru was never truly immortal, he had to body hop to YOUNGER bodies. And Kakuzu doesn't even look human. And Hidan, do you know when he became immortal? Judging by how he looks, he obviously became immortal at a young age.
