thats what ive been telling my friend who is a pokemon fan for months now, im glad someone agrees with me! digimon beats pokemon. kids didnt like pokemon as much as digimon because there was an actual plot and you actually had to think. with pokemon all you do is collect more and more monsters and throw little red balls. whats the fun in that? and the worst part about pokemon is that it goes nowhere. powerangers has a better story than pokemon!

digimon definitely better, and not just because the animation is more detailed and the the digimon look cooler than pokemon, but becuase the story line is WAAAAAAY better, and more perilous!
the digimon crew basically saved the world, while the pokemon characters were usually (not in all cases, like the movies, some times) just furthing thier own pokemon collection and winning competitions, which is all very selfish, in my opinion.

digimon "tamers" are friendly, and selfless, not to mention inteligent.
pokemon characters are very 2 dimentional.

and i'm also glad some one agrees with me! >_<

so why is agumon your favourite?
mine is gatomon

my reason is because she is one of the deepest character in the first season (besides the angsty and misunderstood matt :P (yamato))
her sad past as a lieutenant in Myotismon's army, even though he beat her (because he didn't like her eyes >.>) makes me think of how hard her life had been

her love for wizardmon was very touching, i jsut really identified with her passion and what not. she rose above her troubled life and joined the digidestined. she is very strong willed and trusting.

in the end, she sort of is like the kind of giving, selfless person i'd like to be

lol, it's ok.
anyways, so you know what else was good about digimon, it seamed more realistic because the characters did not always win, AND when they lost they didn't learn their lesson right away, they had to work through it.

digimon is so fantastic >_<
