It's the moment were the parents start to stop taking precautions when things start to happen. Remember the story were the parents were praying for their daughter who was a diabetic and died a slow painful death? Well this is an extreme version, but I think I'd rather be safe than sorry. Take the CT scan dad!!

It's really strange but it could be a genetic disorder or misalignment of genes within a population. But if I had to blame a single thing, I'd probably say it's the lack of genetic diversity within their population that is leading to this problem. They are usually marrying people of the same caste and so forth, so ideally it does make sense that they would have kids born with some type of side-effects.
