I don't think that there is such a thing as luck, however, (although this may sound contradictory) I do believe in karma. It's in just about every religion around, and in my experiences it is real, and when it comes around, it's almost ironic.

I believe we have all been placed in a timeline and our lives are playing out as they are supposed to. Although I do believe that we aren't being forced to follow this path as we do have freedom of choice. So when people steal say in the instance they are starving, they have a to steal or die of starvation knowing they didnt do anyone wrong by stealing from them. I believe people who are rich and powerful have been given that not because they are lucky but to see what they do with all that power and who they help. Luck is just a word used in ignorance to prevent any notions of jealousy to be noticed. We should be thankful that we are still sane people that is true luck.

From the way I see how things happen, I'd say faith and luck exist.

If not how come it's always the same people that get the good things and the same peeps that get the bad things, without doing anything before?

Because if someone is successfull by work, that is expected but there are a lot of slackers yet good things happen to them only while there are people who struggle and never obtain what they want.

And how come certain things never change even though someone tries to change them? Or repeat themselves through life?

There is no way to know for sure weather things are being predetermined or

if it's just luck.So it's just a matter of opinion which isn't my style i'm a fact

There is no such thing as luck, but people base luck off of chance and percentage.

The way I see it, it's very unlikely that someone would have an equal number of positive low probability outcomes than negative low probability outcomes. It would be close, but not exactly equal. Therefore, luck exists, but just barely, though statistically, there would be an exceptionally few number of extremely lucky people.

Note: Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't pretend to be an expert in tis.

The way i see it is, if you had a 1/1000 chance of getting picked and get picked, would you say that is luck, or probability, all of this is nothing but math, and for games, and other things not involving math (Like beating someone in a fighting game), that's just skill or reflex in my opinion.

sometimes i will believe in luck and sometimes i think it's just bull i suppose luck is out their for those who probably need it but i can't say for shure its out there

I don't think there is luck. There is fortune where something fortunate may happen to an individual. It would be luck if that same good event happen to an individual on a daily basis or something. So no, there really isn't something as luck.

i think luck has to do with probablity, but it isn't really a "thing." For instance if a lot of good unprobable things happen to a person they would be conisdered lucky. But they do not posses "luck", because it is not really a thing. You know what I mean?

I believe in "luck" AKA probability. Luck is probably a word made by casinos used to motivate people to gamble more so they make more money. xD

i agree.

And i would rather call it a probability rather than luck. And besides, in our world today, who would believe in lies such as luck, fate, and fortune. Fortune-We have to earn it. And we have to be careful.
