After a long time, Naruto TCG game is in it's final stages.

The first set Naruto-The way of the ninja will be released by the end of the month, along with a program for online deck construction and online playing.

Since the game is in it's final stages, the team and I decided to start with preview weeks. Each day there will be something new about TCG and the rulebook will be available for download next week(as soon as we get our page ready).

At this point, all I can say about the game is that:-it will be for 2 players
-a starter deck will be
available for download
-includes 5 diferent card
types

Ok, guess I will start the first day of the first preview week by introducing race/class cards.

There are 4 diferent types of race/class cards(sand, mist, leaf and sound). Each of them has it's unique abilities and play sistem. Today, I will begin with introducing the sand shinobi(the first cards our team developed).

Now, this is a shinobi card:



Notice the claw symbol at the top left edge of the card. That symbol stands for creature aka shinobi card.

Some of you who have played Magic: The gathering will notice the same card style, keywords and symbols. This was made so that some of you could understand some cards before the rulebook comes out.

Now, shinobi card is something we call a permanent. Once it enters play, it stays in until it's destroyed. If a cards says Tap all permanents your opponent controls your opponent taps all of his cards that are in play, including shinobi cards.

Below tha card name you will notice some red symbols. This symbols stand for chakra and how much chakra do you need to spend in order to play this card. Each race/class has it's own chakra.

Below the picture you will notice the card type. It is a shinobi card but it is also a sand njinja. If a card you control says change a crad type of another shinobi you control you only cange the type after the -(like sand ninja).

Now you can see a keyword haste. Keywords can be played for as long as the card is in play. Sure, there are keywords that can say when you play this card or once during your turn. Consider them a passive abilities.

You also notice the arrow symbol. This is a acitvated ability. The arrow symbol means that you have to tap this card in order to play it's ability.

And in the end you can notice the 1/1. The first 1is this cards attacking power and the secon 1 is it's health. When this card takes damage the it satys on it until the end of the combat. If it wasn't enough to destroy the damaged card, it's controler removes that damage from it.

The power is the damage you deal to a target blocking shinobi. The combat goes like this:

Your power+his health and his power+your health(even if you are attacking or blocking, both shinobi get their chance to strike)

Judging by the first look, this card ain't anything special. But if you combine it with this:



It makes a nasty combo.

Cause the real Naruto cards are CCG...and I like it this way

The next preview will be on Sunday due to team vacation(this will have no effect on the date of the release)

@Shade111: i play Magic and i have see crazy stuff but a turn 3 that give haste to almost all your ninjas and regenerates then with 1 i cant imagine Sannin or kages abilities lols. but i like if the system is like magic count me in

Doesn't TCG stand for Trading Card Game. And I'd like to mention how bad I'd beat all of you. Itachis my most prized card, that doesn't mean I don't have any other super rare, all golden, holocrafic cards. But you realy should change your game to the real one, cuz lets face it you had a good idea but the game would suck.

This game is basically created by the magic th gathering card maker so this wont be a fun as the "real" tcg naruto, and plus its a dead card game anyways, why don't you just put the real online one on and save us the trouble.

pssh please I pwn you with a mental power deck, note that itachis mental status is zero making him weaker than a acad student xD
