I don't know, for the good of Konoha, Neji & Shikamaru would take over like Kakashi may have to, but I'd think that Neji could grow into being a great Hokage, and Shikamaru wouldn't want to continue as The Hokage longer than he would have to (like Kakashi).

I guess if they were asked to they would for the good of Konoha, but we all know that the one person from Naruto's generation that will be Hokage is...Naruto.

I'm theorizing here, Tsunade becomes Elder after battle with Pein, Kakashi becomes Hokage. Now, Itachi was becoming blind from overuse of many say his MS, but I say overall sharingan use. MS main theme was controlling the Kyuubi, this only happened one time in Itachi's life and it was when Yondamine placed the Kyuubi into Naruto. No known time did he actually use his MS for that, but after teaming with Madera, and joining the Akatsuki, notice that Itachi's regular sharingan was always activated (lack of trust amongst theives). And he used his MS in battle often, therefore he started going blind. Since Kakashi got his sharingan from Obito, its always activated, and now he's doing MS a lot. I suspect his vision will be a reason for him stepping down after some uber battle defending Konoha, I doubt his body can take more than an Uchihas. A guess at how the transition will come. Incomes the #1 Hyperactive, Knucklehead Hokage Uzimaki Naruto.

I suggest either 1st Naruto2008, or 2nd Hanz86, they've been posting well also Kiome, those are my votes from 1 to 3.
