We are catching up to the other Orochimaru thread. they have 25 posts and we have 17. operation domination is still far from complete though. we need more members.

He was visting his parent's grave when he was younger and Sarutobi came to cheer him up. Orochimaru found a rare white snake and showed it to Sarutobi. Sarutobi told him how anytime a white snake appeared there was always a rainbow nearby. They looked up and there was a rainbow. Orochimaru was already pale white so I think he tried to become a white snake.
