If Kenpachi's zanpaktou had a shikai, what would it do, and what would it look like?

I'm hoping to see some hand-drawn sketches, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much, because I know that it's very improbable that any of you are willing to draw this out.

Now, let's clear up shikai before moving to bankai, shall we? let's not get carried away, because we have all the time in the world due to Kenpachi's constant inactivity in the series.

I have my own opinion regarding his shikai, but I'll only give it when I hear worthy feedback from you guys.

but please, make it somehow related to his character in effect and style. Don't make it just plain awesome with no basis.
