I think for future SOTW sigs should be standard 400x120. TAGS!!, I'm liking a lot of entries but if everyone had to work with the same exact limit the tournament would turn out much more interestingly.

Standard is perspective. I think 400x100 is standard.

The best size guidline would be 400x150 cause that pretty much covers everyones specific sig sizes or what some might consider specific. 400x120 ,400x125, 400x100,350x150 and even all the way up to 400x150.

400 x 150 is fuckin huge for me. For a tag anyway.

yeah it is but i doubt most would make it that big but some do.. i just dont see why the sig size has to be any bigger then that to be honest unless your doing popouts.

But then you are taking away the possbility for people to be creative. I mean look at waves latest. Not exactly meeting the criteria you guys are stating here. If you wanted to go that specific then it could be entered as a possible theme. I mean look at what Ero already has posted! If you do standard sizes then it takes out all possibilty of being unique. But yea just my opinion.

To be creative with limited space takes more skills than to do what Wave did and he knows it too. That's why I'm proposing standard tag sizes for everyone unless it is a special popout event or some shit. Everyone entering with ridicolous difference in size tags ruins the flow of the competition.

If there must be a size limit, let Hokage decide. It's only fairer.
Also - does this theme have a specific meaning to it? Because I'm confused.

Not to be a pain Hokage, but i ask for your leniency on the size limit this time, as i have little to no time to change the tag to appropriate dimensions without affecting the quality nor do i have time to create a second tag. [as i am mid way through a crucial exam period]

As this is not the first time such leniencies have been taken, one recalls SOTW 5

While a certain other member [i won't single him/her out] posted a tag that was 555 Width by 225 Height

While you may say this is an incongruity, it is still a crucial breaching of the suggested limit.

Not to say that this member was wrong, merely asking for your leniency and understanding.


Regarding the issue of tags in the future, might i recommend setting a fixed limit instead of having varied limits per SOTW? It would make the life of the contestants far less confusing and far more convenient.

I agree with ero.. at least he submitted a decent entry and he seems busy so cut him some slack.. if others go above the entry size then its not fair to tell one to change their entry and not others.

Like I said for future SOTW's. Hokage even you should've realised how shitty it would be to suddenly tell someone they can't enter a sig. You do realise that they way you have listed your size limit it has a loophole. So in future set the size and don't put it Max/Min. It is indefinite that size has to be used so no-one can go out of the limits or whatever cause they'd be DQ'd.
