Kakashi's death?

I can't believe after the latest chapter no one has made this thread. Is Kakashi actually dead? If not is he in the process of really dying? Or will he somehow survive? If so then how?

I would not mind if he died, love the guy, but without loss in the story as you've heard me saying before, it wont make much of a "impact' for the reader.

This of course is not fact, but its a peculiar way to finish off a character if you're just going to end it with him having a final thoughts with his father. If it was ended without these visions/thoughts then i'd say yeah, he's a goner. The whole purpose of this to me seems to indicate he still has something he needs to accomplish and he's going to recieve one final chance.

Just speculation but I think its more likely than he dies alone in Konoha like that.

Kakashi will suddenly realize that Pain isn't cool enough to kill him.

List of people cool enough to kill Kakashi:

Orochimaru
Itachi (he's so cool, he can even kill Kakashi if he's dead)
Zetsu
Kisame
Madara

I got it. Orochimaru will make one of Kakashi's shadow clones evil and attack him. He'll also use an Itachi-zombie to keep Naruto and Sakura from saving Kakashi. While fighting evil-Kakashi, Kakashi will have to avoid Kisame (who's sword can somehow fly now), and Madara's MS. All the while, Zetsu is saying, "I'll eat you when you're dead."

Oh, it's going to be awesome!

what i meant was that kakashi uses a suicide attack on his enemy or walks into fire or something like jiraiya did
but oros techniques are very useful to call old characters that died back and to watch them fight again

I don't think Kakashi is dead just yet. He certainly may die in the next chapter or two, but at the current moment, he appears to just be unconscious and waiting for a coup de grace by anyone who happens to walk by. He doesn't seem to have had too much damage yet, just exhausted and helpless.

So he needs either someone's help, or some mystic boon of strength to flee in order to not just be killed.

Kakashi ain't dead. I said the same thing in the "Naruto Rants" thread I created, but this is just Kishi building suspense. Kakashi can't be killed by just anyone, and since Chuck Norris isn't a Naruto character, a pussy like Pain ain't going to be able to pull it off.

He'll die but not for another 2 chapters. Right now Kakashi is on the verge of death having a conversation with his father about his life. Flash backs of death here we come RIP Kakashi.

But my theory seems likily, doesn't it?

Oh, did I meantion that, the whole time Kisame and Madara are also going to be trying to kill Orochimaru. That'd make the most awesome three-way-fight ever!

Really is that why Pein is still walking and kakashi is on the verge of death. Not to mention it took more then one ninja to take out the demon realm pein.

Considering the idea that Pain aka Nagato may very well be the final villain I wouldn't call him a "cat". That same "cat" also killed the great Jiraiya & is currently pwning Konoha.

Near death? Hmmph. You don't watch many animes or read many mangas do you? Being near death simply means you are limited to only basic functions. Such as flying a complex machine, holding a sword. Holding a gun. Using said weapons. Figuring out a complex math equation. Flying a giant mecha. Using a kick ass fighting move. Tapping never before seen reserves of awesome. Making love. Kicking the bad guys butt. Telling your true love how much she means to you via telepathy. Cleaning a oven. Using C+. Writing a linux program. Driving a car 100+ miles an hour. And programming your vcr. Basically, near death means you are GOD, if you're the good guy, in anime and manga.

edit: My language isn't that bad, I'm following forum rules. Using an expletive here, and there. And not even expletives they censor on tv anymore. Not, back, to back, to back. ^_^
