It would be a shame if he did die.Kakashi still has alot to teach.It's too soon maybe he has to settle something with his dad first.Then come back and display some awesome jutsu to repel PAIN('cause the vendetta belongs to Naruto Kun).

So it would be totally lame to kill off the GREAT COPY NINJA.

Maybe Kakashi is going to ask his father for a strong justu to repel Pain. Because he can't display some awsome Justu because he is out of chakra and satamina.

I got this feeling when Jiraiya died ..
but this is not the same cuz Jiraiya was like killed for sure but kakashi "died" from lack of power - stamina - chakra ..... I thisn "hopefully" that he will be Back after a tour with his dead beloved ppl .....

If I recall correctly (too lazy to go back to the actual manga page), Kakashi was trying to achieve something with his Sharingan before giving in to death and now he is on cloud 9. I am certain that he will emerge from his thoughts and woop some ass which will lead him to the hospital from exhaustion (AGAIN). Prob Obito's version of the Mange... Sharingan. My 2 cents.

^ Kakashi was trying to protect Chouji from the missile so Chouji could escape and give Tsunade vital info on Pain's abilities. He succeeded in that. He said "If I use Mangekyou Sharingan now, I'll die," and then used it. So I don't see how he'll survive, unless his judgement was somehow incorrect.

What are you talking about? Kakashi is good to go. He's taught his students everything he can, and there'll be other people to repel Pain. If he were to die, now would be a good time. Now don't get me wrong, I like Kakashi, but dying a hero's death would increase his awesomeness tenfold.
