They'll show up soon. I'm sure they're somewhere in Konoha, possibly fighting one of the bodies. If not, then they will come to the rescue or something. My guess is that either Gai or the Sand siblings will come to the rescue.

I hope both of them come especially the Sand siblings because of Gaara.

I'd like to see more Shino.. he seems like he's almost as smart as Shika and his unique bug jutsu throws people off.

But realistically, we should see Gai and his team. Maybe we will see Lee open all 8 gates..

Very true...why haven't we seen Neji? I know many others are dying for a Byakugan vs. Rinnegan showdown. Why wouldn't Kishi put in Neji, when he can target chakra and help discover the truth about Pain? He could possibly see the chakra signals coming in, he could target the chakra receptors on the Pain bodies...ugh, it fits so perfectly but who knows right? We should have had at least a page of the different teams fighting. And of all people, why isn't Gai-sensei rushing to see Kakashi.

I hope the shinobi the Raikage sent to tell the 5th, that they are going to kill Sasuke, intervene. They must be underway to the village now with the message, maybe they'll arrive just in time.

Really interested in seeing what their shinobi are capable of.

If they send them a message that they are going to kill Sasuke then the messanger would return and ask for there help.

Kumogakure's shinobi team must have taken the same route Pain did though when he was traveling to Konoha...

"Damn it, I knew we should have stopped and asked for directions!"

Anyway, would Kumogakure or Sunagakure's (lightning & wind country's) involvement in this show that Konoha is not the strongest anymore? I think Kishi left them out so he could show the strengths of the Leaf shinobi, without aid from other villages. In these times of struggle and chaos, many characters will exhibit heroic or great leadership and strength...thus showing the will of fire truly being passed on.

(And that is why Kakashi must come back from the dead/limbo...to kick ass...but hey, I can dream can't I?)

I doubt they actually posses the skill to take down Sasuke. As strong as they may be and as much as people hate on Sasuke, he is strong. There is no way around it. He has MS, tons of kickass jutsu, 2 elements, and just plenty of natural skill.

I only brought this up, cause we don't know much about these characters and am interested in seeing what they are capable of (after finding out what their names meant). I didn't say they were powerful enough to defeat Sasuke, and don't know if they are the ones actually assigned to that mission; it could be just to bring the message to the Leaf Village.

I guess coming from a country with an affinity to Lightning based attacks (meaning Sasuke's might be worthless regardless of how skilled he is ie. Killerbee deflecting his chidori sword) and the fact they were the personal students of Killerbee, a very strong shinobi, and the first people the Raikage trusted to send on an important meeting, means nothing.

Whether their message is simply, we are going to hunt down Sasuke and kill him, or the calling of a Summit between the Kages, or both is still up in the air. Doesn't mean they can't be itching for a fight once they get to the Leaf Village.
