Jiraiya could've easly defeated 6 pain's paths if they fought him all together from the begining..the surprise element that cuzed jiraiya to loss his arm is what made him lose..if he did work with his own advice "you can't overestimate your opponent enough"
he could have owned the fight epicly.

He wasn't talking about an actual jutsu. He was talking about when Jiraiya didn't know there were more of Pein and Pein used th element of surprise to rip his arm off.

Who would win though? Hmm I think it depends on the pain body too in a 1-1 fight. But overall jiraiya would win. What do u think?

Jiraiya would have beaten pain at the time if he had known about Pain's secret. or at least, he would have been better prepared for the fight.
I think any of them would do better against pain once they know how he operates.
but it doesn't seem to matter much now anyway.
