Hello! Could anybody help me? I can't reproduce any sounds at all...This is the message:

No sound devices found. Please buy a soundcard first (or install proper drivers if you think that you have one)
Error code: 2

I tried re-installing the drivers but nothing happened...what can I do??? Thank you!!!

Check and see if the device is even working properly using Device Manager. What happened before the sound stopped working? Are the drivers updated? Is it possible your sound card is no longer functioning (as in, not just a driver issue)?

Ummm, I do remember re-initianing my computer after I installed automatic actualizations...after that, I couldn't play anything on winamp or even watch a video with sound. My speakers are ok; how do I know if my soundcard doesn't work anymore? thank you so much for replying

when the black screen shows up type in del *.*

then hit enter

well antivirus runs in the background and he uses some resources (still not that much to "slow down")
check if the antivirus is running a system scan in the backgroud (hdd works hard even during idle). to find this out just right click the antivir icon in the notification aerea ( near the system clock) and open the antivir interface ( diferent names depending on the software). there you should find something depicting the progres of the scan (if any).
if that is not the case, i gues its time for an upgrade/new system

Since you will not be doing video, the stock GeForce GT120 card will do what you want.

DDC means the monitor tells the video card/computer what resolutions are possible. In OSX it really isnt an issue unless you are using an older monitor.

You mean a blue screen that says your computer encounter a serious problem. If you encounter this problem please call your technical assistance.? Is that what you mean?

Hey. Need some help with my computer it's a dell
I turn it on an the dell loading screen pops up you know with the press f12 for help thing and all but after it loads itself the screen goes black and nothing works I don't know If the modem is messed up or what. Can anyone help me

Well could be a couple of things but first, are the lights on the tower still on when screen turns black? Any sound when you turn it on? Could be video failure or PSU.

Yeah the lights are still on but I have no speakers installed in it so no sound
