Naruto is neither angry or dead or even in a life threatening situation like when he had a guys hand jammed into his shoulder after receiving the chidori....right now he is only being put to sleep...does the kyuubi erupt when the dude is knocked out or goes to sleep...he isn't in any physical danger, his body is still intact and only his sage chakra is being drawn out.

And i'm sure pain won't waste his time trying to absorb kyuubi chakra coz the point is to extract it into the statue...anyway, if the kyuubi behaves like the hachibi he may wake naruto up and knock down pain the same way Sasuke got pwnd...we'll just have to wait and see.

Long time reader but new poster...

Anyway I think the 9 tails fox will show itself because Naruto still isn't at the level he needs to be at to be the best ninja. Everytime the demon shows itself, Naruto urges to work harder and become stronger so he can win battles without the help of the fox. I think if Naruto was able to defeat Pein at his current state he wouldn't train as hard and just stay at the same level as he is now. If the demon shows itself it shows Naruto he needs to continue training, so he doesn't need to rely on the fox every important battle and it shows he can work to become a greater ninja by himself.

I would really like it if Naruto would have finally reached the competency level to be relied on and come out on top as well as not let people down...Sheesh! shikamaru got to that level 3 years earlier and all his peers in konoha and even in Suna have that intrisic trust of the village and their seniors...so why don't we hope that Naruto wins this fight, is acknowledged for the fine ninja he is and then he can go off and train in the other stuff without the whole kyuubi drama we've suffered till now...

^ Because without the Kyubi interfering Naruto has less to work for and he needs to be the strongest in the whole Ninja world, I mean the thing is called Naruto. He is the most important character. If he wins this battle, against one of the most powerful ninjas it will most likely lead to him becoming lazier and he will train less. He's my fav. character and I want him to win badly but I also want him to be the strongest and the best ninja ever. I'm not saying the fox will show itself next chapter but I think it will show itself during this battle and it will cause Pein to retreat or kill him.

his sage chakra si already depleted cuz pain siphoned all b4 the ending of the chapter. now he is drained of his own chakra. thats why he passed out. his normal chakra is wery low so he cant stand on his feet (cuz from what i get from the databooks chakra=stamina more than chakra=stamina+celular energy)
this is bad for naruto and kyuubir feels it.
i mean in the chunin exam sasuke was drained by yoroi and he didnt passed out (and sasuke has a lot less chakra than naruto).

Sasuke was drained just a bit, plus he was fight while trying not to use his chakra...anyway i don't wanna piss you off with a back and forth ping pong discussion...i just think Naruto needs a more tangible trigger to awaken the fox than a sleeper hold, thats just my opinion,but i may be wrong.

It's more than a sleeper hold...it's sucking out his chakra and I didnt say Naruto will get lazy...I just don't think he will work as hard as he would if the demon showed itself.

WE WON'T BE SEEING THE KYUUBI NEXT CHAPTER!!!

Evedance as to why:

• It'll take a LOT more than a Full Nelson to hold Naruto.
• He's still got one more clone left.
• He's not stupid enough to let Hungry Ghost get him a second time.

Stop theorizing the Kyuubi powers! It's getting old.

Naruto's chakra level is maxed. Before it was at level 4 when he was between the ages of 12-13, but the databook now states that his chakra is at level 5, which is maxed. So he has a lot of chakra and stamina. But I do agree he will run short of chakra. Because he has to use his own chakra to go into Sage Mode, which means he ditches out a lot of it. Once his Sage Chakra is absorbed, he loses his regular supply as well. That explains why he was dead tired once he got out of Sage Mode the very first time.

But the thing here is that I don't know if Hungry Ghost Realm can absorb of Naruto's chakra in full. Naruto's seal is set up so when Naruto's chakra runs out, the Kyuubi's slips in even if he does not want it to. Learning how to control that is key, but in this situation, the Kyuubi's chakra might just flow out without any aid. The seal is already weak as it is, there's nothing stopping the Kyuubi's chakra except the "Key". But that same "Key" could also be used to unlock all of the Yang Chakra of the Kyuubi. Possibly transforming Naruto even further. So its definately a ditch effort.

Whether Naruto will turn into another raging monster again or escapes safely, will probably be answered within the next two chapters. But that's just my opinion.

He still has to work hard. More than ever now that the Kyuubi's chakra has grown to extensive levels due to the seal weakening. Too much strain on his body and he could either destroy anything in his path (friends included) and or injure himself fully.

that expresion was taken out of the context.what i meant by his normal chakra there was that the quantity witch he could use at that particual moment is low
narutos chakra is off the chart (but cuz in db 5 is max he has 5 there)

Which is probably the reason why Naruto could not disperse them. Myobokuzan is in a different world as the Toad oil can only remain in that atomosphere. Its probably still in the shinobi world, but high on the outskirts or something.

So I think the natual energy would just be dispersed within the air if the Sage Clone is not transfered to where Naruto is (Konoha).

I'm sure he will still work decently hard but not as hard as he would if the demon chakra showed itself and he had to rely on it. And what your saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense...And what your saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense...the only time Naruto had to worry about the fox is when he loses all of his chakra...If he's able to defeat pein (one of the strongest ninjas, if not the strongest) then what makes you think that he will continue training as hard as he has in the past? I mean so far he has defeated 4 bodies and 1 of the bodies twice pretty easily and obviously has a trick up his sleeve with at least 1 missing shadow clone. If he really defeats Pein with 3 Sage mode types all by himself then he would DESTROY anyone else that got in his way and it wouldn't make things as interesting.

So far Naruto's motivation has been to get strong so as to get Sasuke back...the motivation to stop relying on the kyuubi is secondary so i really doubt naruto will get lazy after this victory.

After he beat gaara, he hounded kakashi to teach him chidori, and after beating kakuzu he still thought of how he could improve on the ability...Naruto will seek to get stronger whether the kyuubi shows up or not.
